Your mood swings? Big enough to power a small city.
And when your partner tells you you’re “acting crazy,” you want to rip their head off.
So you finally get lab work done…and your provider shrugs.
“Everything looks fine. This is just part of life. Maybe exercise more and eat less. Or here—take this pill.”
AHHHHHH!
You're Not Crazy.
Your Hormones Really Are Off…
And It Doesn't Have to Be Your Normal.
No wonder you're frustrated.
You deserve better answers and long-term solutions.
The Real Problems You're Facing
"Your Labs Are Normal"
You know something’s off, but most providers only order basic labs (like TSH and reflex T4), which often come back looking ‘normal.'
Without a comprehensive panel, the real issues are missed.
Fragmented Care That Doesn't Work
You've been shuffled between specialists who treat your thyroid separately from your adrenals, your hormones separately from your gut health—when everything is actually connected.
Hormone Therapy Fear-Mongering
You've been told bio-identical hormones are "dangerous" while being offered synthetic pharmaceutical alternatives or told to just "deal with it" because it's "normal aging."
No Time for You
You're rushed through seven-minute appointments where you're interrupted before you can even explain what's wrong, then sent away with another prescription that treats symptoms instead of root causes.
Here's the truth:
You may be doing everything “right” with diet and lifestyle, but you’re still struggling because no one is addressing your hormones as part of an integrated system.
Four Pillars of Complete Hormone Health
Complete Thyroid Mastery
No more half-baked labs. We run a full thyroid panel—not just TSH—and use functional ranges to catch what others miss. Personalized treatment can include Armour Thyroid, Cytomel, and/or combo protocols designed to actually work.
Adrenal Recovery
You can’t optimize thyroid health without addressing adrenals. We help restore your body’s stress response with targeted supplements, stepwise adrenal support, and lifestyle shifts that build resilience.
Sex Hormone Optimization
Hormone therapy tailored to YOU. Progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, DHEA-S. Whether it's topical, injectable, oral, or patch, we’ll find the delivery method that is aligned with your body and preferences.
Did you know? (Click arrow to expand)
Progesterone keeps estrogen in check. Without it, you can have “estrogen dominance” even when estrogen looks normal on labs.
Even a small shift in testosterone metabolism can significantly alter estrogen levels. This is another reason you can’t check one sex hormone in isolation.
DHEA is called the “mother hormone” because your body can convert it into both estrogen and testosterone. Low DHEA = downstream imbalance.
GLP-1 Microdosing
Through Dr. Tyna Moore's "GLP-1s Done Right" training academy, I've learned to safely administer these peptides through microdosing.
By using appropriate protocols that support energy, metabolism, inflammation control, and even weight management, you can avoid the horror stories associated with conventional dosing.
GLP-1 therapy is evolving. It’s not simply “take this shot, lose weight." Dose, timing, and how it fits into your thyroid and hormonal context matter greatly.

Why Everything Is Connected
(And Why That Changes Everything)
The Thyroid-Adrenal Connection
Your thyroid and adrenals work as a team.
When one is struggling, the other compensates and eventually burns out.
The Sex Hormone-Gut Health Link
Your gut produces and metabolizes hormones.
If your digestive system is struggling, so will your hormones!
The Role of Inflammation
Stubborn weight, brain fog, and hormone resistance are often driven by systemic inflammation.
We'll dig deeper to uncover and address the root cause(s) so your body can heal.
Meet Your Hormone Detective
You’ve probably been told to see one provider for your thyroid, another for your hormones, and yet another for your gut. But the truth is, your body doesn’t work in separate pieces, and neither should your care.
If you’ve felt dismissed, pieced together, or like no one’s looking at the full picture, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why I created ROOTWELL. This whole-body approach gives you the comprehensive evaluation and personalized plan you’ve been searching for.
Here, your symptoms aren’t brushed off, your story matters, and your care plan is tailored specifically to you. Together, we’ll connect the dots between systems, uncover the root causes of what’s really going on, and design a path forward that restores balance and helps you feel like yourself again, not just for now, but for the long run.

Q&A
So how do I get started?
Just click one of the “Schedule My First Visit Today” or “Book Your Initial Visit Today” buttons.
You’ll fill out a short prescreening questionnaire so we can make sure this program is the right fit for you.
If everything looks good, you’ll be directed to a self-scheduling page to book your initial visit. You’ll also receive a detailed, comprehensive health history form to complete ahead of time—this helps me see the full picture before we meet.
From there, it’s all about you—your story, your goals, and what you want for your hormone health. My role is to listen, support, and partner with you in finding the best path forward. There’s no pressure or long-term contracts—just thoughtful, collaborative care designed around you.
Q: Why do you require a one-year commitment?
A: Hormone health takes time. Unlike quick fixes, true hormone balancing and metabolic repair typically take 6–12 months to see lasting results. The one-year commitment ensures you have consistent follow-up, lab monitoring, and adjustments along the way.
Q: Is this a weight loss program?
A: Short answer: no. ROOTWELL is not a weight loss program. Our focus is on optimizing your hormones, thyroid, and adrenal function while supporting metabolism, nutrition, and lifestyle. That said, when these systems are balanced, many people naturally notice weight loss, better energy, and improved mood. For some patients, micro-dosed GLP-1s can provide an extra tool—helping with appetite regulation and metabolic health—without the harsh side effects of traditional high-dose approaches.
Q: Do you work with both men and women?
A: Yes. While many of our patients are women navigating thyroid, adrenal, and sex hormone changes, we also help men optimize their hormones, including testosterone (TRT), energy, sleep, and metabolism. ROOTWELL is designed to serve both.
Q: Can I use my HSA or FSA?
A: Yes. While we don’t bill insurance, you can typically use HSA/FSA funds for visits, labs, and supplements. Many of our patients find this a flexible and tax-efficient way to cover care. Superbills can be created upon request to submit for visit reimbursement. If you are local to the area, I offered labs be drawn through HealthLab at The Health Spa in Peosta, IA and accept major insurance carriers.
Q: How much will medication cost?
A: Medication costs vary depending on what you need. For example, standard, conventional prescriptions (some thyroid medication, hormones, etc) are typically filled at your local pharmacy and can be run through insurance.
Compounded medications are not covered by insurance and vary based on type. For example, compounded thyroid medications typically range from $45–$75 per month, bioidentical hormone replacement typically range from $40–$90 per month. GLP-1s (micro-dosed through a compounding pharmacy) are significantly more affordable than brand-name injectables, but can still vary based on supply and dose.
Since these are cash-pay prescriptions, costs are separate from your program visits and labs. I always review pricing options with you before prescribing.
Q: Do you work with patients who are trying to conceive or have fertility concerns?
A: Yes! I do work with this population. As an extension of WELLROOT, I can support your fertility journey by running comprehensive prenatal labs to complement the care you’re already getting with your OB.
